X-ray service

The X-ray room is open on weekdays (Mon–Fri) from 8.00 to 18.00 (break from 13.00 to 14.00).

All doctors from all over Estonia can refer patients to Tallinna Hambakliinik for an X-ray scan. For this, it is necessary to fill in a doctor’s referral.

We have two X-ray rooms equipped with modern digital X-ray machines. The equipment manufacturer holds an ISO 9001 quality certificate and ISO 14001 environmental certificate.

Images are taken by qualified radiology technicians.

All equipment undergoes regular maintenance and radiation safety assessments. When taking X-ray images, we adhere to the ALARA principle and use radiation protection measures.

We save 2D and 3D images onto a memory stick or, if needed, onto a CD along with the Planmeca Romexis Viewer software for viewing the images. Images are saved in DICOM 3.0 multi-frame format unless specified otherwise by the doctor. If needed, we can save them in single-frame format as well.
